"Survivor: Nicaragua" Wins Its Time Period in all Key Measures for the Fifth Straight Week
"Criminal Minds" is the Night's #1 Program in Viewers
CBS Wins Wednesday for the Fourth Consecutive Week in Viewers, Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54
CBS won Wednesday in viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 for the fourth consecutive week as freshman drama THE DEFENDERS swept its time period with across-the-board increases from a week ago, SURVIVOR: NICARAGUA won its time period in all key measures and CRIMINAL MINDS was again the night's #1 program in viewers, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Oct. 13.
THE DEFENDERS was first in households (6.3/11), viewers (9.91m), adults 25-54 (3.4/09) and adults 18-49 (2.5/07). Compared to last week, THE DEFENDERS was up +5% in households (from 6.0/11), +13% in adults 25-54 (from 3.0/08), +14% in adults 18-49 (from 2.2/06) and added +530,000 viewers (from 9.38m, +6%). This marks the first time this season THE DEFENDERS won its time period in adults 18-49.
Earlier in the night, SURVIVOR: NICARAGUA was first in households (6.9/11), viewers (12.13m), adults 25-54 (4.7/13) and adults 18-49 (3.7/11). Compared to last week, SURVIVOR added +80,000 viewers (from 12.05m, +1%). CBS swept this time slot for the fifth consecutive week.
At 9:00 PM, CRIMINAL MINDS was first in households (8.5/14), viewers (13.84m) and adults 25-54 (4.7/11); it was second in adults 18-49 (3.5/09). CRIMINAL MINDS was the night's #1 program in households and viewers.
For the night, CBS was first in households (7.2/12), viewers (11.96m), adults 25-54 (4.2/11) and adults 18-49 (3.2/09). CBS was first in these measures for the fourth consecutive Wednesday this season.
