ack, the City of Santa Barbara cops are waiting for you with guns drawn because they think your airplane was stolen eight years ago!! Of Course, the cops were wrong and the city apologized for being stupid...no wonder tax payers are mad..hire better people and then the high pay makes sense..but Chief Cam Sanchez should have been fired years ago..he's part of the problem when the city hired him they paid for his house!! Guns drawn on eight year old information about a stolen plane?? Absurd!!Next, I see the Santa Barbara Firefighters Alliance is trying to raise money by holding a cocktail party at the Coral Casino with a live auction emceed by daddy's boy Andrew Firestone! You know, if the cops and firefighters would reduce their benefits which are the most generous in the city, they wouldn't have to hold cocktail parties to raise money...there is no reason a fireman or cop should have better benefits than a water worker especially when the cops display such blatant stupidity!!
This is the same mindset that got the former Sheriff Anderson in trouble..using Andy Granatelli and his fat rich Montecito co-horts to raise money which led to fraud investigations, politics, arm-twisting, cooked books and a bunch of other things that should have been prosecuted but were not!!

(Aug. 31) -- A doctor involved in an "on-again, off-again" relationship apparently tried to force her way into her boyfriend's home by sliding down the chimney, police said Tuesday. Her decomposing body was found there three days later.Dr. Jacquelyn Kotarac, 49, first tried to get into the house with a shovel, then climbed a ladder to the roof last Wednesday night, removed the chimney cap and slid feet first down the flue, Bakersfield police Sgt. Mary DeGeare said.
