"24" Production Temporarily Shuts Down(September 15 - October 9)
Since production on Season 7 of "24" is ahead of schedule, the show has decided to take a breather for a few weeks in order to retool the remaining scripts of the season.
There seems to be some dissastifaction about the scripts that will finish the season so since they have the extra time, the writers have decided to use it to rework the scripts for the last few episodes of the season.
This is to me a positive development. If they aren't happy with the direction of the last few episodes and production-wise they are ahead of schedule, why not take this time to make this season as good as they possibly can?
For once, the powers-that-be at "24" are not as Jack Bauer would say..."running out of time!"
