the bible has been used by certain people to justify horrible behavior...it's my duty as a real catholic to set the world straight and look at some myths created by neurotic Christians for neurotic Christians on this holiest of weekends...
thou shall not take the Lord's name in vain: this has nothing to do with swearing. It is about asking God for things that you know he won't give you..like a new car or house or even a pretty girl..you have to work for those things and praying to god for these things is fruitless!

The laws of the United States of America which were intended to protect the individual in their religious freedom have resulted in just the opposite. The laws of religious freedom have been used to protect the unscrupulous predators within Christianity which prey on the innocent, uninformed, sincere would-be, Christian. The same laws are not enforced to protect the innocent individual from the unscrupulous frauds perpetrated against the individuals from their own false religious leaders, within Christianity.
Definition: Fraud, 1. a) deceit; trickery; cheating b) Law intentional deception to cause a person to give up property or some lawful right. 2. Something said or done to deceive; trick; artifice. 3. a person who deceives or is not what he pretends to be; impostor; cheat.
If the practices of the Jim Joneses, the Jim Bakers, the Oral Roberts, Jerry Falwell, Rick Warrens, the Robert Tiltons, the many other TV evangelists, radio preachers, as well as the Pope and all his Priests, were practiced outside the protection of religious freedom, they would all end up in prison. Yet they are all engaged in fraud against the innocent uninformed individual which seeks religious freedom to worship God with good intent and desire for righteousness.
if you are an actor, doing a love scene with Virginia Madsen won't send you to hell! Late last month, it was quietly announced that Neal McDonough was replaced three days into shooting ABC's upcoming drama, 'Scoundrels.' But the steely-eyed actor wasn't let go because of a scheduling conflict or bad behavior, it was reportedly because he refused to have TV sex with Virginia Madsen, his costar. According to Deadline.com, the former 'Desperate Housewives' star balked when it came time to make fake passionate love with Madsen because it conflicted with his deeply-held Catholic views!! WTF?? how about maybe because he's gay and just uses the bible as an excuse to keep away from women...Ginny Madsen is cute!!!
