When SB City Councildweeb Dale Francisco called some inclusionary housing projects "immoral"..I could see he meant it..he was shaking and stern-faced and I though he was going to pull out a ruler and smack Das on the knuckles! Well, I can express indignation at immorality too..so here goes: I was reading some local rags and the ads that fund these publications were, in my opinion, IMMORAL! The front page of "Family Life" had a girl dancing with a guy, Fiesta style..if you look closely at the girl, her little dress is flying in the wind as she dances, exposing her..well.. you can see her..her...her..what looks to be her...ya know..that ....shocking! Then there's Ty Warner!
First he makes fun of Michael Jackson with a Sunday Brunch Special called Death Warmed Over Easy..with OJ and hot coffee! Then he has the nerve to attempt to block pedestrian and bicycle access to Summit Road as part of his Montecito Country Club remodel! IMMORAL!!Then there's the SB Wine Festival...
if you are fat and out of shape..this is the place to hang out and get drunk and stupid....stuff your faces at the SB Natural History Museum..now, why is the Museum hitching its wagon to these alcohol events...I don't know..supposedly to help the Museum exhibits and of course, to benefit "the Children"...this bright idea was cooked up by the Museum's Events Manager, Meredith Moore...the Museum needs to get out of the wine business..promoting alcoholism is a lazy way to make money... it needs to get back to its mission of education....I will be investigating these folks and soon....they are on my radar!!
