I wish President Obama, who seems to go out of his way to extol the virtues of Islam, would use his bully pulpit as president and speak out against the mistreatment of Christians living in Muslim dominated countries. This is a serious issue that needs more condemnation by the world of nations.

But, the world remains silent at the plight of Christians. Why is that he case? If the situation were reversed and Muslims were being massacred, rape, and beheaded at the hands of Christians, wouldn’t you think that CNN would be Johnny on the spot with video footage and Christiane Amanpour would be holding one hour specials to examine the story?

I think the answer is clear.

This is not the first time Muslim terror has hit Christian sites, nor is it the first time Christians have fled Iraq. This week the Iraqi legislature discussed the Christians' situation and passed a resolution in principle to help families who fled. However, the parliament does not know where the Christians are, how many are still in Iraq, in their homes, and how many have found asylum in Iraqi Kurdistan.

Reports from Iraq show some Christians are even afraid to report they have received threatening phone calls or e-mails telling them to leave the country.

"Contacting the authorities forces us to identify ourselves, and we aren't certain that some of the people threatening us aren't the people in the government offices that are supposed to be protecting us," one Christian Iraqi told the newspaper Sawt al-Iraq. Others have reported masked men coming to their homes at night and demanding that they "convert to Islam, leave or die."

Gay Lobby Using Children to Fight for Gay Marriage

A favorite tactic of Liberals, who call themselves Progressives to soft-peddle what they really are, is to play upon people’s emotions instead of their intellect.

For example, voting for Barack Obama to make him the first African American president would be an historic event that would rock the world. Calling it “historic” was enough of an emotional tug to sway millions of voters into ignoring everything else he brought to the table, oh like…eh , his lack of experience, his socialistic views, and his comfort with all things radically Left.

But, I digress.

Liberals always play the “emotion card” and its quite effective to motivate people who are to busy with their day to day lives to realize what’s really going on.

So, it turns out that Gay Marriage advocates turned to a favorite tactic, using a child to play the emotion card:

Now, who would want that little blonde head boy to continue to go to school and be ridiculed by other kids? I mean children can be very cruel, right? And the part where one of his mothers almost burst in tears is especially designed to make you feel like a monster if you don’t support Gay Marriage.

When the matter of Gay Marriage is ever discussed, absent from the conversation is how faith plays a central role in people’s feelings on the matter. Homosexuality is not only prohibited in the Christian faith, but also in Judaism and Islam as well. All three faiths believe that marriage should be between a man and woman.

That means billions, with a “B”, of people of this planet share this fundamental conviction.

But, Leftists have successfully controlled the rhetorical battle thanks to ineffective articulators on the Conservative side in deference to political correctness.

So the Left continues the tactic of making emotional pleas and deftly divert the language to a discussion of Civil Rights for Gays and Second Class citizenship for homosexuals having to endure being civilly unionized instead of married.

Brit Hume: A Profile in Courage in a Godless Landscape

Embattled Brit Hume last Sunday showed tremendous courage by extending an invitation to Tiger Woods to the Christian faith. Not many people if any in his position on television would ever dare come close to talking about such a thing in an industry dominated by Liberals who routinely only pay lip service to a belief in God, let alone Jesus Christ.

The torrent of criticism hurled at Hume by The Left was expected and even vicious at times. However, Hume is applaud by Christians around the world who rightly understand that what he did was not only compassionate, but also he was obeying the last commandment that was issued by Christ himself.

Of course, Liberals in their total ignorance of who Jesus was and what he actually did and said, are busting their collective spleens accusing Hume of disparaging Hinduism and by extension all other man-made religions.

This is a typical Liberal reaction. Notice how they always lump in Christianity with terrorists performing acts of terror and other historical bloody events with their, “if not for religion” argument, all this misery could have been avoided.

Yes, Ann Coulter was right, they (The Liberal Left) are indeed Godless!

Religion has nothing to do with this situation.

Tiger Woods is a man in desperate need as demonstrated by his reckless behavior. His story is common albeit more magnified by his world wide celebrity.

His marriage is fallen apart and his family unit is destroyed. However, many Christians have experienced the same thing. Our stories may be different, but no less painful for us all.

It is at these times, when we hit rock bottom, when we find out that Jesus Christ is the rock at the bottom!

Now, I don’t if Tiger Woods has hit bottom yet. And most likely Brit Hume doesn’t know either. But, just in case Tiger is near that bottom rung, Brit did the right thing, and he did it very well.

Rachel Maddow Sinks to a New Low: Ridiculing Christians at Prayer

You know I think it’s disgusting that Rachel Maddow (The Karate Kid) used footage of Christians engaged in prayer to base her political commentary.

They (Liberals) really have no limit to the depths that they are willing to sink to inform the mindless dolts who follow them in the first place.

However, on further reflection, I cannot totally put blame on Leftist like Maddow, or Chris Matthews or even Keith Olberman for they do not know what they do.

Several years ago, Ann Coulter wrote a terrific book entitled, Godless, in which the Left went ballistic over a single chapter dealing with the so-called 911 widows.

However, the overall premises of the book, namely that Liberals are ungodly folks who pay only lip service to a belief in one true God. And when they do, its really for appearance sake so they can continue living lives of moral relativism which actually means by no morality except for standards they make up as they go along.

You know, things like climate change or closing Gitmo.

They didn’t give a hoot that Coulter was labeling them as “Godless” because she had them pegged for what they truly are.

And they didn’t care enough or knew enough to be offended. Ironically, this from a people that never miss an opportunity to be offended by anything.

So, on a certain level, I can’t hold the ignorant responsible for something that they’re totally ignorant about, such as the power of prayer.

However, I will say that Maddow has surpassed even Harry Reid’s slavery comments by offering a critique of prayers to score cheap and loathsome political points.

Nonetheless, ridicule is the only method Maddow employs on a regular basis which would explain her miniscule ratings.

But, if by some strange miracle, Rachel Maddow comes across this blog, let me say this.

Prayer is how we Christians have a conversation with God. We believe in a Creator God with all our hearts. We are not ashamed of this despite that amount of times you may show footage on MSNBC of Christians praying in Jesus name. In fact, we’ll even pray for you, Rachel Maddow, because no one is beyond Christ's redemptive power—not even godless Liberals.

Islam Will Dominate the World if Christians Don’t Stand Up

Old Europe is dying and Islam is filling the void of a culture that is not sustaining itself.

Brothers and Sisters, we are in a war that is separate and apart from the conflict against radical Islamism.

This is a war to save souls for Christ and simultaneously protect our American culture that was built on Judeo-Christian beliefs.

We have a president of dubious Christian faith that seems more willing to downplay the role of Christianity in the founding of this country while at the same time inflating the importance of Islam in American history.

So, let’s be mindful of the threat that truly confronts us and refuse to let Political Correctness paralyze us from doing what needs to be done.

Oprah Winfrey: Queen of Daytime TV, Anti-Christ or False Prophet?

Yesterday, Oprah Winfrey, the African American woman, daytime TV talk show host of dubious sexuality, announced that she will be going off the air in 2011.

What will middle-aged White woman, the bulk of Oprah’s audience, do now for their socialization and education? Can they ever survive without the Queen of TV that turned victim-hood-syndrome into a mega-billion dollar marketing empire?

I shudder to think of the consequences of having to be forced to live life without Oprah. How would millions face the world without knowing how she wants them to think or feel?

Her leaving may have catastrophic effects to the U.S. economy far worse than President Obama’s economic plan. Without her, how would we know what books to buy or movies to watch, or what doctors to see and for what?

But seriously folks, Oprah Winfrey should have left the airwaves 23 years ago. She’s done more harm than good for millions. The sad fact is many of her followers are blind to the damage she’s caused.

My theory as to the real reason she’s calling it quits is because she realizes she made a tremendous mistake endorsing Barack Obama. Her show has taken a ratings hit ever since. She said that this man should be president and just enough Americans were fooled into making it happen.

Why should her show be around for the fallout?

But, more importantly than that, Oprah has misled millions away from a relationship with our Lord!



The Oprah effect will still be felt because she intends to start her own cable network. But can we at least start pulling the curtain back and behold what she really is?

J Randy Forbes For President in 2012

With so much going on in the country right now, the debate on Health Care, an act of domestic Terrorism at Fort Hood, Texas, and 10.2% unemployment rate thanks to President Obama’s incompetent economic policies, I feel the need to write about something utterly different in the blogesphere.

J. Randy Forbes came to my attention in the spring when he made an impassioned speech on the House floor in response to President Barack Obama’s assertion that the United States is no longer a Christian nation. I’ve been watching him ever since and I can’t help being impressed with this man.

He’s not only a man of faith, he’s a patriot that oozes Ronald Reagan every time I watch a video of him. In my opinion, J Randy Forbes is everything that Barack Obama is not. Or more plainly, he’s the Anti-Obama that offers a clear choice of Conservatism over Big Government Liberalism.

Nobody heard of Barack Obama prior to 2004 and now he is president. Congressman Forbes may not have the name recognition of a Sarah Palin or Mitt Romney. And I don’t even know if he even seeks the presidency. But, I see great potential in him.
