Nancy Pelosi creates a new minority set aside, just for African American James Clyburn

Another Black Conservative titles his story:

Well what do you know; Nancy Pelosi can create jobs after all

Brilliant! I wish I wrote that.

For those of you who wondered what was all the fuss about. James Clyburn, an African American congressman wanted to keep his job as the Whip of the Democrat Party.

This is the present House leadership.

Speaker of the House-Nancy Pelosi

The Majority Leader legislation-Steny Hoyer

House Majority Whip-James Clyburn

However, since the Democrats shellacking on Election Day, they’ve lost control of the House which means 3 leadership seats are reduced to 2 because the Democrats will become the minority party. Nancy Pelosi seeks to stay as Minority Leader and that leaves 2 people Steny Hoyer and James Clyburn for the remaining position of House Whip which Clyburn already holds.

This led to a nasty fight between White congressman Steny Hoyer and African American James Clyburn who was about to get Kendrick Meeked and pushed to the back of the bus in deference to the White people.

How would that look to the 95% and up African American voter rate that the Democrats depend so heavily on?

The answer is a new minority set aside.

The Washington Post reports that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi moved closer to retaining her top position among House Democrats on Saturday despite midterm losses that left the party with fewer seats than at any time since 1948

Running aggressively to be
minority leader, Pelosi (D-Calif.) brokered a deal between her lieutenants to stay on in second and third leadership positions next year, defusing what had become a heated race for party control in the House.

In a letter Saturday afternoon to her Democratic colleagues, Pelosi said she would offer
Rep. James E. Clyburn (D-S.C.) the newly created position of assistant leader, keeping him as the third leader. She did not mention her internal rival, Rep. Steny H. Hoyer (D-Md.), but her endorsement of Clyburn served as implicit support for Hoyer to serve next year as minority whip, the second-most senior leadership post.

Both men agreed to the deal, ending the contest between Hoyer, the current
majority leader, and Clyburn, the majority whip, to see who could round up the most votes to be minority whip in the next Congress.

Rank-and-file Democrats must
ratify this leadership team - the same leaders who oversaw the loss of at least 60 seats this month - in a secret ballot Wednesday morning. Because no other challenger has stepped forward, Pelosi is likely to keep her top position.

However, about two dozen Democrats have criticized Pelosi's decision to stay in power. This is a new development in Pelosi's eight-year leadership of the House Democrats - the first four as minority leader and the second four as speaker. During that time, she won broad support in the party for legislative accomplishments and for raising tens of millions of dollars to wage campaigns.

Rush Limbaugh laughs at NY Times editorial: Pelosi needed to be better Liar

At lunch time I tuned into Rush Limbaugh on the radio on my way to buy some grub, when all of a sudden I heard him having a laughing fit. Fortunately, he repeated a New York Times editorial that read as follows:

“What they need is what Ms. Pelosi has been unable to provide: a clear and convincing voice to help Americans understand that Democratic policies are not bankrupting the country, advancing socialism or destroying freedom.

If Ms. Pelosi had been a more persuasive communicator, she could have batted away the ludicrous caricature of her painted by Republicans across the country as some kind of fur-hatted commissar jamming her diktats down the public’s throat
.”

See full article here

Now, I understood why Rush couldn’t stop laughing. Obviously, whoever wrote this editorial has a very low regard for the intelligent of the American people. The writer, with a straight face, argues that Pelosi wasn’t a good enough liar to trick the people into loving ObamaCare. Sadly, President Obama and the writer share the same delusion. They think it’s all a messaging problem, or in other words they didn’t explain O Care well enough.

They explained plenty and the people didn’t believe the lies they were selling.

In all honestly, I hope the president remains deluded right up till he’s voted out of office in 2012.

Keep it up, Barry! You’re doing fine!

Another Democrat Congressman Under Ethics Investigation- Rep. Joe Cowley (D-Bronx)

Remember Nancy Pelosi railed against Republicans for having a “culture of corruption” when they controlled congress?

It hasn’t gotten any better under Pelosi and the Democrats since taking over congress.

Charlie Rangel forgot to pay his taxes, even though he writes the tax law.

Gregory Meeks and Malcolm Smith raised money for Hurricane Katrina victims, but forgot to give them the money.

Pedro Espada stiffens off 14 million dollars from a health care clinic he runs.

This is only a partial of sticky finger Democrats we have here in New York.

But, wait there’s one more loser to add to the cesspool.

From The New York Post:

House ethics investigators are scrutinizing Rep. Joe Cowley (D-Bronx) in a wide-ranging probe of fund-raising activities, The Post has learned.

The House
Office of Congressional Ethics notified Crowley’s office this month that it had opened a preliminary review of the congressman’s fund-raising, sources close to the investigation said.

A senior staffer for Crowley said the congressman is cooperating with the inquiry and that he expects the investigation will go nowhere.

“Congressman Crowley has always complied with the letter and spirit of all rules regarding fund-raising and standards of conduct,” the staffer said.

As part of the investigation, the ethics office also sent letters to several K Street lobbyists seeking detailed data on fund-raising and political contributions by Crowley and seven other lawmakers, the Hill newspaper reported Monday.

Crowley and the others swept up by the independent ethics investigation are all members of either the Financial Services or Ways and Means committees.

Crowley, a six-term congressman, sits on the tax-writing Ways and Means Committee.

Pelosi: Lawmakers Should Sacrifice Jobs for Health Care

Nothing like being told to walk the plank from a lady who spends $ 1000 bucks a week of taxpayer money on the finest booze and food when she flies between D.C. and San Francisco.

What does she care?

The voters in her district have “legal” pot shops on every corner. But, the weed being sold are strictly for medicinal purposes.

Do you really think Pelosi in in danger of losing her seat when everybody is too stoned to notice what a clown she is?

Fox News reports:

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi urged her colleagues to back a major overhaul of U.S. health care even if it threatens their political careers, a call to arms that underscores the issue's massive role in this election year.

Lawmakers sometimes must enact policies that, even if unpopular at the moment, will help the public, Pelosi said in an interview being broadcast Sunday the ABC News program "This Week."

"We're not here just to self-perpetuate our service in Congress," she said. "We're here to do the job for the American people."

Pelosi, from San Francisco, is more liberal than scores of her Democratic colleagues. But she generally walks a careful line between urging them to back left-of-center policies and giving them a green light to buck party leaders to improve their re-election hopes.

"Time is up," she said. "We really have to go forth."

So what if a majority of the American people don't want the government to took over health care. This is the best opportunity Democrats have to control your life and they will make it happen by any means necessary.

Anybody got some weed?

Saturday Night Live Spoofs Scott Brown

SNL saw the writing on the wall and was the first entertainment show to take pot shots at President Obama when no one else had the nerve. This is significant considering the show is part of the NBC universe where stations like MSNBC continue to sing Obama’s praises.

This Scott Brown sketch makes the statement that Scott Brown’s arrival to Washington changes ObamaWorld in a huge way.

Update: Video Back Up!

Scott Brown thought the piece was funny.

Nancy Pelosi Spends $1,000 per Week on In-Flight Food and Booze

When you’re Speaker of the House, you might as well take advantage of the perks, especially when it’s on the public dime.

Remember, the big stink about Nancy Pelosi’s insistence that she needed to be flown in a government version of a Boeing 757?

Well, you don’t think Nancy is gonaa fly without eating and drinking right?

No, way San Jose!

And she ain’t drinking any of the cheep stuff either.

We’re talking Maker's Mark whiskey, Courvoisier cognac, Johnny Walker Red scotch, Grey Goose vodka, E&J brandy Bailey's Irish Crème, Bacardi Light rum, Jim Beam whiskey, Beefeater gin, Dewars scotch, Bombay Sapphire gin, Jack Daniels whiskey … and Corona beer.

It’s party time whenever Party Pelosi hops on a plane!

Health Care Bill to Pass in 30 Days or Less

In politics there are things said for the public to hear, but it’s a totally different story behind closed doors.

As recently as a few days ago, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi said with a straight face that there weren’t enough votes in the House to pass the senate version of ObamaCare.

What great news for the voters of Massachusetts and the rest of the country who celebrated the recent election of Scott Brown who ran on a promise to be the 41st vote against Health Care reform and who Obama says was voted into office out of public anger.

However, if you think that President Barack Obama and his far Left Liberal base in congress are going to stop cold with their pursuit of their wildly expensive Health Care reform bill, think again.

TPM Video

These are Democrats!

Nationalized Health Care has been a Liberal wet dream since the days of Theodore Roosevelt. But, maybe you might think that Democrats might slow it down and listen to the American people for a change.

Fat chance!

That’s just as likely as 24/7 coverage on C-SPAN of the meetings behind closed doors between Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid figuring out how exactly they can do the nasty do--passing health care.

However, congressman Alan Grayson, the lovable loon of the House of Representatives, who wanted A.G. Eric Holder to prosecute the creator of a parody website, My Congressman Is Nuts.com, may have let the cat out the bag of whats happening in the shadows of congress on Hard Ball with Chris Matthews:

Yeah, Grayson may be a nutjob, but don’t sleep on the thought that its business as usual in Obamaworld despite the Massachusetts Massacre.
