Republicans Poised to Win Big Tues (aka GOP about to kick major Democrat Ass): Gallup

It’s about to get ugly up in Democrat circles. Oh they may try to put on a brave front, but Democrats are laying down in a fetal position, sucking their thumbs, and making plans to move to France or other parts unknown.

It’s repudiation time for President Barack Hessein “mm mm mm,” Obama.

Gallup reports that rhe final USA Today/Gallup measure of Americans' voting intentions for Congress shows Republicans continuing to hold a substantial lead over Democrats among likely voters, a lead large enough to suggest that regardless of turnout, the Republicans will win more than the 40 seats needed to give them the majority in the U.S. House.

The results are from Gallup's Oct. 28-31 survey of 1,539 likely voters. It finds 52% to 55% of likely voters preferring the Republican candidate and 40% to 42% for the Democratic candidate on the national generic ballot -- depending on turnout assumptions. Gallup's analysis of several indicators of voter turnout from the weekend poll suggests turnout will be slightly higher than in recent years, at 45%. This would give the Republicans a 55% to 40% lead on the generic ballot, with 5% undecided.

Republicans' 15-percentage-point lead among likely voters contrasts with their 4-point lead, 48% to 44%, among registered voters, highlighting the importance of higher GOP turnout to the election outcome. This wide difference between the GOP's margin among registered voters and its margin among likely voters is similar to the 2002 midterms, in which Democrats led by 5 points among all registered voters in Gallup's final pre-election poll, while Republicans led by 6 points among likely voters -- an 11-point gain.

These final estimates of the vote among registered and likely voters are consistent with Gallup polling since Sept. 23. Republicans have led by an average of 4 points among registered voters and by 16 points among a low-turnout estimate of likely voters since that time. Thus, while voter preferences could change in the final two days, perhaps resulting from Democrats' final push to motivate their base to turn out, voter preferences appear to be quite settled in this final post-Labor Day phase of the campaign.

Snooooooze! Obama faces thousands of empty seats for last Democrat voter rally

Oops!

Looks like a 37% approval rating is rearing its ugly head on the campaign trail.

Democrats are about to face a “thumpin” on Tuesday as Americans around the country get to voice their this displeasure with the Obama presidency.

Let no Dem spinmeister fool you. This election is a referendum on Barack Obama’s Far Left policies. Americans don’t want their country converted into a European Welfare state, despite what Barack Obama thinks.

The man is fraud who tried to pass himself as a centrist, with the help of a corrupt media that has also been exposed for the whores that they truly are.

November 2, 2010, comes judgment day for the Democrat Party, and it won’t be pretty.

The Hill reports that the arena where President Obama and Vice President Biden are making their final appeal to Democrats to get out and vote in Tuesday's midterm elections was far from capacity Sunday afternoon. The crowd estimate stands at 8,000 in the arena that seats just over 13,000 and a couple thousand empty seats are visible above the stage where Obama and Biden rallied supporters.

Rhode Island Dem Frank Caprio tells Obama to “Shove It!” Up yo Ass, Err..okay I added that last part

I love it!

The Democrats are cracking up under the pressure of the upcoming Republican tidal wave.

630 WPRO reports that the Democratic gubernatorial candidate Frank Caprio is livid after the Providence Journal reported Monday morning President Obama would not endorse Caprio during his visit to the state today.

"He can take his endorsement and really shove it", Caprio told John Depetro and the WPRO morning news. Caprio told WPRO he did not seek the President's endorsement and calls the snub Washington politics.

Obama accuses Americans of being too stupid to overcome their fears

I always go to the British press for reliable reporting on American politics.

Also, I have a lot of British readers that regularly visit this blog.
Thanks guys. You’re country is on the right path with PM Cameron. Fight for your country and British culture!

The UK Telegraph reports that President Obama and his fellow Democrats are mocking Republicans and the Tea Party as stupid. But they could be the ones who look foolish on election day.

So what is the closing argument of Barack Obama's Democrats before next Tuesday's midterm elections? The President is no longer the self-proclaimed "hope-monger" of 2008, who vaingloriously declared that his vanquishing Hillary Clinton marked "the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal".

He has stopped patting voters on the back for choosing, by voting for him, to listen not to their doubts or fears but to their "greatest hopes and highest aspirations". Instead, he is berating
Americans (most of whom now do not believe he deserves a second term) for not being able to "think clearly" because they're "scared".

Having failed to change Washington or, as he promised that night in St Paul, Minnesota in June 2008, to provide "good jobs to the jobless" (unemployment was 7.7 per cent when he took office and is 9.6 per cent now), Obama is changing tack.

Boiled down, the new Obama message to Americans is: you're too stupid to overcome your fears. To be fair, it's not entirely new. During the 2008 campaign, Obama was caught on tape at a San Francisco fund-raiser saying it was not surprising that voters facing economic hardship "get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them".

At a fund-raiser in Massachusetts this month, Obama spoke of Democrats having "facts and science and argument" on their side. As opposed, presumably, to the lies, superstition and prejudice that Republicans rely on.

This year, Democrats have embraced with gusto the notion that Republicans, and by extension anyone thinking of voting for them, are dimwits. Their mirth over the likes of Tea Party figures like Christine O'Donnell, the former anti-masturbation activist who once she had "dabbled" in witchcraft and is now a no-hoper Senate candidate in Delaware, seems to know no bounds.

Republicans Prove Unpopular With Voters Against Obama in Poll

Here’s something Lefty blogs and Obots can hang their hats on.

But, it’s my opinion that you don’t have to be popular to get the job done.

The opposite is clearly true and Obama is the proof.

Bloomberg reports that Republican attacks on President Barack Obama’s policies are resonating with voters, even as many Americans give a thumbs-down to the party and some of its specific ideas, a Bloomberg National Poll shows.

Three weeks before the midterm elections, Republicans maintain a position of strength due to the commitment of their supporters and the likelihood they will vote.

The general Republican message of less spending, lower taxes and repeal of the health-care overhaul is connecting.

Pluralities of those polled support overturning the health-care measure -- Obama’s signature legislative accomplishment -- and back the “Pledge to America” that offers a road map for how Republicans would govern if they win congressional majorities.

Still, the poll suggests voters aren’t embracing Republicans as much as they are rejecting Democrats.

In the Bloomberg Poll, nearly half of likely voters -- 49 percent -- said they had an unfavorable view of the Republicans. Democrats have a narrow advantage on favorability, 47 percent to 45 percent.

CNN Poll: Obama suffers whopping 23 point drop Was Bush better president than Obama?

What was this about George W. Bush being a bad president?

Democrats need to reconsider their math.

CNN reports that by 47 to 45 percent, Americans say Obama is a better president than George W. Bush. But that two point margin is down from a 23 point advantage one year ago.

"Democrats may want to think twice about bringing up former President George W. Bush's name while campaigning this year," says CNN Polling Director Keating Holland.

Obama's Deceitfulness

In attempt to embarrass the Bush Administration, President Barack Obama purposely redacted CIA memos that shows evidence that enhanced interrogations led to specific actionable intelligence that prevented Terrorists attacks and saved American lives.

The Main Stream Media, again is being derelict in their duties of providing the American people with the truth. The MSM will not ask the Obama administration the tough questions as to why he is playing politics and risking the lives of thousands of Americans from future attacks.

In his short time in office, President Obama has imperiled the American people by reverting to a Pre-911 mentality that was a key factor that led to our vulnerability of the World Trade Center attacks.

This country is much less safer by the irresponsible actions of this most disgraceful excuse for a president.

A President a Terrorists Could Love

President Barack Obama saw fit to authorize the release formerly classified memos concerning enhanced interrogation techniques used against captured enemy combatants.

This is sheer folly on the part of our president who fancies himself as president of the world rather than president of the United States. This is a man who swore to protect, uphold, and defend the constitution but instead he rather help our enemies.

What brilliant idea will he come up with next?

So, as a result of the public backlash from former CIA directors and Republicans, the Obama White House hastily organised a photo-op at CIA headquarters with handpicked staffers to give the appearance of adulation and support. Of course, the Main Stream Media, the propaganda arm of the Obama administration, covered the event as if President Barack Obama was a rock star. However, the vast majority of the United States have seen passed the charade and see the president for what he is, a dangerously naive former senator from the corrupt Chicago political machine.

Which Malik Shabazz Visited White House in July 2009, Mr. President?

Andrew Breitbart is on the case asking the Obama White House about a certain visitor that broke bread with the president.

Big Government.com has an explosive reort that says in May 2009, the Obama/Holder Justice Department dropped charges in a voter intimidation case against Malik Shabazz, a leader of the New Black Panther Party, despite having already won a summary judgment against him, and his New Black Panther Party colleagues King Samir Shabazz and Jerry Jackson who were video-taped outside polling place in Philadelphia intimidating voters as they arrived on election day, 2008.

In July 2009, when Congress began looking into the matter, someone named Malik Shabazz visited the private residence at the White House.

When news of the visit was released under the auspices of transparency, the
White House denied that the Malik Shabazz on the visitor’s log was the same Malik Shabazz involved in the New Black Panther voter intimidation case.

According to Norm Eisen, special counsel to the president for ethics and government reform, the records contained “a few “false positives” – names that make you think of a well-known person, but are actually someone else.” He specifically cited Malik Shabazz as an example of one of these “false positives”.

At the time, the media did not challenge the White House on the veracity of this claim. The White House’s position was, basically: “We’re being transparent, here are all the visitor logs, and this guy is not the guy you think he is, TRUST US.”

Caroline “Ya Know” Kennedy Cold War with Barack Obama

It was Ted Kennedy, supposedly during a sober moment, who gave Barack Obama his blessing and passed the Democrat torch.

Well those love days are over.

Caroline Kennedyis so ticked off at the OBAMAs she coldly snubbed them during the family's recent vacation to Martha's Vineyard.

After working hard to elect President Obama, Caroline was widely expected to host the first family at her sprawling Red Gate Farm on the island, as the Kennedys did the Clintons when they were in the White House.

Instead, when the Obamas recently relaxed on Martha's Vineyard, they ended up renting the same place as last year, Blue Heron Farm in the town of Chilmark.

Caroline's blatant cold-shoulder treatment is evidence of the bad blood that has developed between the former close friends, say Kennedy family insiders.

Caroline, 52, is still bitter over the fact that President Obama has refused to make her part of his inner circle of advisers or to give her a plum appointment in his administration, maintained the friend. "She feels that he just hasn't been appreciative enough, especially after she and her family's endorsement was key in helping him win the Democratic nomination over Hillary Clinton.

Ann Coulter: Obama Is Atheist, Not Muslim

What I love about Ann Coulter is how she upsets Liberals so much with her cutting humor.

But, the dirty secret is for all those caterwauling Libs that make a living, or at least try to make a living trying to shoot her down, you won’t catch any of them in a live debate with her, except for Bill Maher.

In the recent controversy where nearly one in five Americans think President Obama is a Muslim, according to a recent poll, Ann wrote:
"The nonsense about President Obama being a Muslim has got to stop," Coulter wrote on the conservative website TownHall.com. "I rise to defend him from this absurd accusation by pointing out that he is obviously an atheist."

Can’t you see Chris Matthews’s eyes popping out about now?

She added: "All liberals are atheists... There's only one true Christian liberal in the country and that's Mike Huckabee."

Go get’em Annie!

Far Left Blogger David Neiwert: “Snoring Honor: Beck's big rally just a long-winded and boring sermon. And boy, was the crowd white.

Have you ever tuned in to the Grammy Awards, or the Oscars, or an NFL, NBA or Major League Baseball game and say to yourself, “Gee, that crowd is pretty White.”?

Better yet have you ever heard a Liberal commentator complain how White the crowd was at the Tony Awards?

I think not.

But, whenever there’s an event that is perceived to be composed of Republicans, Liberals are only too happy to notice the number of Whites even though it mirrors the same demographics as the other events I mentioned.

David Neiwert, a Far Left blogger for Crooks an Liars, a very appropriate title for Mr. Neiwert, does as much when he wrote this describing Glenn Beck’s Restoring Honor Rally:

“He [Glenn Beck] started weeping while telling the crowd that somewhere out there was "the next George Washington".

Dunno about you, but when I saw pan shots of the crowd -- which was one of the whitest crowds in D.C. in recent memory -- I mostly thought I saw "the next Timothy McVeigh."

Besides being grossly scornful of an event that featured Americans turning back to God, praying, and encouraging other Americans to do good, Mr. Neiwert is engaging in Liberal de-construction to marginalize Glenn Beck.

According to the 2008 Census of the United States with a population of 310 million, the country is 79.8% White, 15.4% Hispanic, 12.8% African American, 4.5% Asian American, 1.7% Multi cultural, 1% Native American and Alaskan, and 0.2% Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander.

So, if 8 out of 10 people in the United States is White to begin with, then its very understandable, except for Mr. Neiwert apparently, that you’ll see more White people at any large gathering like a NFL game, or the Oscars, or a Yankees game and at 8 28 Restoring Honor Rally.

Mr. Neiwart’s observation is as insightful as saying water is wet.

But, it works for his crowd that is made up guilt-ridden White people who hate America, mindless no-nothings who are easily manipulated by the David Neiwert’s, and Chris Matthews’s, Ed Schultz’s and the Keith Olberman’s of the country.
We need people like these for a good laugh once in a while.

The truth is Liberals are scared too death and desperate because they know they’re going to loose huge in the upcoming mid-term elections. So you will see the race card pulled in the coming weeks like you’ve never seen it before.

That’s why they’re demonizing Fox and Glenn Beck who only points out how their policies are failing.

Liberal de-construction is not working because more and more African Americans are watching Fox and their eyes are being opened, not with lies and manipulation like they do on MSNBC, but with facts, cold hard statistics and honest exmination of the Liberal agenda and how its failed in Europe, in Greece, and everywhere its tried.

So flail away Mr. Neiwert, judgment day comes in November.

The Progressive Agenda is Dying in America Thanks Barack Obama

Liberals are in a state of shock walking like zombies because they actually believed that America had gone socialist with the election of Barack Obama.

I didn’t believe it for a second despite the mainstream media pushing Obama-mania with all its atmospherics and soaring rhetoric.

I tried to warn friends and family that there was no “there” there.

All they were seeing was a very carefully crafted blank slate. It was brilliantly designed so that anyone could project what they though Barack Obama represented.

Facts were pushed aside and the only that was important were emotions.

How Obama made people feel was more important than his lack of executive experience, it was more important than his Marxist belief system, it was more important than his association with unrepentant terrorists, it was more important than his 20 year relationship with a pester who teaches biblical hearsay that is deeply rooted in Marxism, it was more important than his closest friend who is now serving time in prison and who was Barack Obama’s chief money man, it was more than Barack Obama championing Infanticide, and it was more important than Barack Obama’s continued insistence even to this day not to release his college transcripts from Occidental College, Columbia University, and Harvard.

There were as many red flags as rain droplets that caused Noah to build a boat.

But, thanks to the mainstream media, those red flags were left to ripple in the wind and the snake oil continued to flow.

But, every great love affair has a common enemy-time.

Gitmo is still open.

War still raging in Afghanistan and Iraq.

More terrorists attacks on American soil than under George Bush.

Obama refuses to attend National Day of Prayer. This is a huge Christian event and people have drawn their own conclusions.

Obama continually apologizes for his country and bows to foreign leaders.

Obama shepherded Obamacare through congress despite overwhelming disapproval by the American people.

Obama takes over the car industry, the mortgage industry and college loans industry.

Obama does nothing to stop Iran from developing a nuclear weapon even though he said it would be a game changer if they got one.

With time comes the warts.

Speechifying has never been a substitute for governing and the president has been exposed for what he always was-a fake poser who looks the part but lacks the real goods.

Why Does Obama Say America is a Nation of Non-Believers?

Terrence P. Jeffrey Editor-in-Chief of CNS News raises a question that requires some serious examination of how President Obama views the United States and its view on faith in God.

Why Does Obama Tell Muslims America Is Nation of ‘Non-Believers’?

By Terence P. Jeffrey, Editor-in-Chief

Why has President Barack Obama on at least two occasions told specifically Muslim audiences that America is a nation of—among other things—“non-believers”?

The Pledge of Allegiance says America is one nation under God, our national motto says in God we trust, the Declaration of Independence says we are endowed by our Creator with certain inalienable rights. Since the time of George Washington our presidents have placed their left hands on the Bible as they raise their right hands and swear to defend our Constitution.

The Census Bureau’s official Statistical Abstract of the United States says a miniscule 0.7 percent of American adults—or 1,621,000 out of 228,182,000--are atheists. If you accept the Pew Hispanic Center’s March 2005 estimate that there were 11 million illegal aliens in the United States back then—and assume for the sake of argument there are still roughly that many today after another half decade of unsecured borders—then a person randomly passing you on an American street is about seven times more likely to be a foreign national illegally residing here than an atheist.

If representation in the resident population is the measure, then it is more plausible to say America is a nation of foreigners than to say America is a nation of non-believers. Yet President Obama has virtually made a mantra of saying that Americans are, among other things, “non-believers.”

In his inaugural address, Obama said, “We are a nation of Christians and Muslims, Jews and Hindus and non-believers.” A week after his inauguration, in an interview with Al Arabiya, an Arabic-language television network based in the United Arab Emirates, Obama said:

“So what I want to communicate is the fact that in all my travels throughout the Muslim world, what I have come to understand is that regardless of your faith—and America is a country of Muslims, Jews, Christians and non-believers—regardless of your faith, people have certain common hopes and common dreams.”

On Nov. 7, 2009, four days before Veterans Day and two days after U.S. Army psychiatrist and radical Muslim terrorist Nidal Malik Hasan murdered 12 U.S. troops and one civilian and wounded 29 others at Fort Hood, Obama took pains to publicly state his belief that the American veterans who fought in Muslim territory at Ramadi, Iraq, and Kandahar, Afghanistan, included “non-believers.”

“In tribute to those who fell at Ft. Hood, I’ve ordered flags flying over the White House and other federal buildings to be lowered to half-staff from now until Veterans Day next Wednesday,” Obama said in his weekly address. “Veterans Day is our chance to honor those Americans who’ve served on battlefields from Lexington to Antietam, Normandy to Manila, Inchon to Khe Sanh, Ramadi to Kandahar.

They are Americans of every race, faith and station. They are Christians and Muslims, Jews and Hindus and nonbelievers.” On Aug. 13, hosting an Iftar dinner for Muslim guests at the White House, Obama not only suggested that he approved the building of a mosque next door to Ground Zero in New York, but he also said this: “We are a nation of Christians and Muslims, Jews and Hindus—and non-believers.

“ Is Obama’s repeated declaration—including to Muslim audiences—that America is, among other things, a nation of “non-believers” truly accurate? Does it comport with Obama’s professed strategy of reaching out to the Islamic world and improving America’s standing there by increasing understanding of our true nature as a nation?

The answers are: No and no. In America, we have no established religion, and the First Amendment guarantees its free exercise, but we are and always have been an expressly God-fearing nation.

Thomas Jefferson, who wrote of our God-given rights in the Declaration, later said in his “Notes on the State of Virginia”: “And can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are of the gift of God? That they are not to be violated but with His wrath?”

The Census Bureau does not ask Americans their denomination, but relies on the American Religious Identification Survey, which interviewed 54,461 American adults in 2008, to estimate the nation’s religious demographics. ARIS discovered that 76 percent of Americans said they were Christians, 1.2 percent said they were Jewish and 0.6 percent said they were Muslims.

Fifteen percent said they did not affiliate with a religion—which is not an indicator of disbelief in God. Only 0.9 percent said they were agnostic and only 0.7 percent said they were atheists. Obama’s insistence on giving the 0.7 percent atheist population equivalent status in his public declarations to America’s Christians and Jews, whose religious tradition is central to our nation’s worldview and heritage, may help promote non-belief in the United States, but it surely does not promote the American cause in the Islamic world—where our radical Muslim enemies, starting with al-Qaida, falsely claim Americans are infidels.

Certainly, Obama is not purposefully seeking to diminish America’s standing in the Muslim world. But his words—on their face—seek to diminish God’s standing in America.

Sarah Palin Asks Quenstions the Mainstream Media Dare Not Put to President Obama Concerning the Ground Zero Mosque

It’s been said that the Left recognizes strong Conservative Republicans better than the Republican Party.

That’s why they attack Sarah Palin so much!

She has the courage to speak the language of conservatism in a climate that has tried so hard to make it a dirty word.

But, conservatism wins elections!

If you want proof, look at all the Democrats that ran as conservatives in 2008 and especially now in the 2010 mid-terms since they can’t run on the Obama record.

We need more Republicans with the same kind of balls Sarah Palin, Jan Brewer, and Michele Bachmann has. I say this purposely to shame current GOP leadership I find very lacking.

On FaceBook Sarah Palin fires away with: Mr. President, should they or should they not build a mosque steps away from where radical Islamists killed 3000 people? Please tell us your position. We all know that they have the right to do it, but should they?

And, no, this is not above your pay grade.

If those who wish to build this Ground Zero mosque are sincerely interested in encouraging positive "cross-cultural engagement" and dialogue to show a moderate and tolerant face of Islam, then why haven't they recognized that the decision to build a mosque at this particular location is doing just the opposite?

Mr. President, why aren't you encouraging the mosque developers to accept Governor Paterson's generous offer of assistance in finding a new location for the mosque on state land if they move it away from Ground Zero?

Why haven't they jumped at this offer?

CNN Poll: Nearly 70% of Americans Oppose Ground Zero Mosque

Let me remind you folks that this is a CNN poll, so the numbers are probably significantly higher.
That’s how much President Obama is out-of-step with the American people.

This is not a freedom of religion issue as Democrats so desperately try to portray. There are over 20 mosques in New York City.

But, the community of lower Manhattan and the 911 families don’t want a Victory Mosque built near sacred ground. And as this poll shows, America agrees with them!

The Hill reports that a large majority of Americans oppose the construction of a mosque near the Ground Zero site in lower Manhattan, according to a poll released Wednesday.

The CNN/Opinion Research survey showed that 68 percent oppose the plan to build the mosque, compared to 29 percent who favor it.

Several Republicans in Congress have called for an investigation into the funding sources for the proposed Cordoba House, which will stand two blocks from Ground Zero. Members are worried that some money for the large facility comes from organizations with ties to Islamic extremists.

Other lawmakers, such as New York Rep. Pete King (R), have said that the construction of the mosque is insensitive in light of its location, the site of the 9/11 terror attacks perpetrated by members of al Qaeda.

A majority of all political groups polled oppose the mosque. Forty-three percent of Democrats support it and 54 percent say they are opposed. Eighty-two percent of Republicans are against the mosque, as opposed to just 17 percent who support it.

A whopping 70 percent of independents are against the mosque, compared to 24 percent who support it.

Backers of the mosque say that blocking its construction would violate constitutional protections of religious freedom. The Cordoba Initiative, the group behind the project, says it wants to use the center to promote a peaceful brand of Islam.

Still, a number of groups, including the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), have come out against it.

Oprah Winfrey Signs Rosie O’Donnelll to Host Show on OWN Cable Channel: Gee, Oprah for Nothing for Nothing

What the media is so afraid to say because they’re scared to death of Oprah’s long reach, and vindictiveness is that the Oprah brand is shot because she gave her stamp of approval to Barack Obama’s run for president.

Ever since then, her ratings have tanked. So do you think Rosie O’Donnell will really help her brand any?

The New York Post is reporting that the morning after hosting a 49th birthday dinner for President Barack Obama at a gourmet Chicago restaurant, Oprah Winfrey made the move that will -- at least for the near future -- be the trademark of her new cable network.

She put
Rosie O'Donnell back on daytime TV.

The deal -- in which Oprah will share ownership of Rosie's show -- effectively gives over afternoons on OWN, the Oprah Winfrey Network, to the unpredictable O'Donnell.

The deal, announced late last week, caught the entertainment business by surprise -- not the least because OWN has not had much good news to talk about in recent months.

Earlier in the week, the Discovery channel -- Oprah's money partner on the new network -- reported to investors that OWN had burned through $75 million of the anticipated $100 million start-up costs -- without a great deal to show for it.

In the TV business, where nothing stays quiet for long, the most startling thing was that it had been kept a secret.

"Believe me, it was not easy for me to do," Rosie wrote over the weekend on her Web site, rosie.com.

"Not telling is not my strong suit."

The Oprah-Rosie deal was a marriage of convenience for both sides. O'Donnell said she wanted to return to daytime soon after Oprah announced she was quitting her show after 25 years.

Despite her track record as a ratings-getter, Rosie could not convince local TV stations to take her back after the fiery ending she had on "The View."

Oprah, meanwhile, was having difficulty developing enough new shows for a brand new network. Worse, most of the new shows were from unknowns.

Rift in Democrat Party Over Charlie Rangel: Obama Wants Him Out But Hill Dems Eyes Only a Wrist Slap

Watch this video

Although you won’t find this reading in the Obama suck up media, I don’t see how anybody can interpret the president’s comments yesterday concerning the situation New York Rep Charlie Rangel is in facing an ethics trial as anything other than, “Resign now and go far away from here!”

Obama’s approval ratings continue to plummet thanks to his job-killing, big government policies and the last thing he needs is for Charlie Rangel to be given only a slap on the wrist despite the mountain of evidence pointing to his sleazy corruption.

Has Obama lost that much juice within the Democrat Party that his call for Rangel’s resignation as subtle as it was, falls totally on deaf ears?

Personally, I hope Rangel fights tooth and nail because it will be better than watching Snooki falling down drunk on Jersey Shore.

But, this is defiantly a rift in the Democrat Party that “state controlled” media doesn’t want to report it as such.

New York Post

If Rep. Charles Rangel was looking for support from President Obama, he'd better not get his hopes up.

Obama last night called the ethics charges against Rangel "very troubling" and sharply noted that the embattled Harlem Democrat is "at the end of his career."

"I think Charlie Rangel served a very long time and served his constituents very well. But these allegations are very troubling," Obama said on the "CBS Evening News" in his first comments on the Rangel scandal.

"He's somebody who's at the end of his career. Eighty years old. I'm sure that what he wants is to be able to end his career with dignity. And my hope is that it happens."

Earlier, it was revealed that the House ethics panel has recommended only a slap on the wrist for Rangel -- a formal reprimand.
Government watchdog groups and other critics ripped the proposed punishment -- the weakest in the House's arsenal -- as outrageously lenient given the severity of the allegations.

"The substantial number of violations against Congressman Rangel make a reprimand totally inappropriate. It's ridiculous," said Melanie Sloan, director of Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington.

The charges include failing to pay taxes on the villa he owned in the Dominican Republic; not reporting huge amounts of assets and income on his financial disclosure statements; improperly soliciting funds from entities with business before his committee to finance a "Charles Rangel Center" at CCNY; and receiving a rent-stabilized apartment that he improperly used as a campaign office.

The House ethics committee report showed that Rangel failed to report as much as $1.7 million in personal assets over the past 12 years.

That's much higher than previous estimates of less than $1 million based on the congressman's financial disclosure forms for 2002 to 2007.

Meanwhile, nervous Democratic Congress members are beginning to abandon Rangel's shaky ship.

Two -- John Yarmouth (Ky.) and
Zack Space (Ohio) -- yesterday called on Rangel to resign.

But the head of the investigatory panel that conducted the two-year probe of Rangel revealed that they want to let him off with only a reprimand.

"The recommendation that we have is a reprimand," Rep.
Gene Green (D-Texas) told reporters.

A reprimand would have to be approved by the full House ethics committee and then the House itself.

The light admonishment falls short of censure or expulsion from Congress and doesn't even require an apology.
