Hey, lets tax Hookers

Nevada's hookers are begging and pleading for the taxman to cometh.

State lawmakers in Carson City shot down a proposed prostitution tax supported by the Nevada Brothel Association.

The industry, legal in parts of the state, said it wants to help the ailing economy by charging customers a $5 tax on each sex act.

For years, brothels have sought a tax as a way of making their businesses more legitimate.

But making them more legit was exactly the fear of lawmakers who voted against the idea

Chris Matthews Schools Obama on Taxes: ‘It’s Their Money’ Explains Taxes to Obama Video

“Stop saying that giving people tax cuts is giving people money. It`s their money!”
Chris Matthews

My mouth fell open when I heard this clip on Rush this afternoon. Is it possible that Chris Matthews, the biggest Obama suck up on the planet, was actually showing some journalistic integrity?

Watch this and make sure you’re sitting down.

What the heck has gotten into Matthews?

Now I really know the tide is turning against this president when his staunchest supporter is no longer covering for him. Or maybe Christine O’Donnell cast a spell on Matty boy.

Put this post on your Favorites because you may not see this kind of stuff again.

Mr. Brown is Going to Washinton

It wasn’t suppose to happen!

In a stunning upset in the Blue state of Massachusetts, Republican Scott Brown beat Democrat Martha Coakley and sent shock waves across the across the country and most certainly rocked the offices of Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, and most definitely President Barack Obama.

In one year after Barack Obama’s historic inauguration where Democrats salivated over the prospect of “changing America” into a Liberal Utopian Paradise at the people’s expense, Independent voters in Massachusetts voted in droves to repudiate President Obama’s obscenely expensive Health Care bill.

Scott Brown ran on a simple message that he delivered across the land of John Adams in his pick up truck, “I will be the 41st vote to stop this health care plan and cut your taxes too.”

They came, they voted, he won.

"I voted for Obama because I wanted change. ... I thought he'd bring it to us, but I just don't like the direction that he's heading," said John Triolo, 38, a registered independent who voted in Fitchburg.

Whispers are already making the rounds in Democrat circles in D.C. that despite Brown’s election, the Dems will seek a nuclear option to precede with ObamaCare.

Yes, these guys never learn.

However, some prominent Democrats like Evan Bayh have responded to these rumors with a stern and possibly prophetic warning to his fellow colleagues that such a move can have “catastrophic” consequences in the upcoming 2010 midterm elections in November.

Don’t underestimate the foolishness of the Democrat party.

The wave that started in Virginia with the election of Republican Bob McDonnell picked up enough steam to usher fellow GOPer Chris Christie in New Jersey and continued to tidal wave Scott Brown into Ted Kennedy’s old seat thanks to the ghosts of the Boston Tea party making their presences felt once again.

Scott Brown is going to Washington!

Oh Happy Day!

Joe Lieberman Close to Endorsing Conservative Scott Brown for Senate

It seems that Democrat Joe Lieberman is sticking his finger in the air and noticing the winds of discontent are blowing strong in Massachusetts.

In the bluest of blue states where disgruntled colonists threw boxes of tea into Boston Harbor in 1773 in protest of outrageous taxes imposed by the King of England, that same spirit of patriotism and dissent is welling up in the 2010 special election between Democrat Martha Coakley and Republican Scott Brown.

What makes this choice so stunning is that Massachusetts is a Democrat stronghold where registered Democrats out number Republicans 3 to 1. The fact that this race is so close and in one poll Brown has a lead over Coakley tells you one thing.

President Barack Obama’s push to pass a Health Care reform bill that a majority of Americans don’t want has caused the people of Massachusetts to recoil.

Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell recently said that Health Care reform will be a toxic issue for Democrats not only in 2010, but also 2012 as the Democrat party continues to push for a European-style socialized medical care system that has failed everywhere it’s been tried.

As we enter the last 48 hours of the campaign, the people of Massachusetts are getting ready to relive their ancestral past and send a very clear message to Washington and the rest of the world.

Enough is enough!

Obama and His Taxing Big Banks

"We want our money back, and we're going to get it," he fumed in promoting the tax, predicted to raise $117 billion over 12 years.
President Barack Obama January 14, 2010

So goes our president in his latest impersonation of Tony Soprano. Wow, he sounded really tough, huh? Obama stood there and posed like a B-movie roughian shaking his fists at the Big Mean banks even though they contributed more money to his presidential campaign than John McCain’s.

I bet the bankers are say, “What were we thinking?”

However, it’s all a shameless dance for O-bots and the to-busy-to notice crowd to sway them into thinking that the Banks are like child molesters needing to be punished for handing out large bonuses.

But, this is the hate-the-rich game Democrats love to play on behalf of the common folks. Hate those that are successful because why should they make all that money instead of you?

That fact that they (bankers) stayed in school and got a good education without getting anybody pregnant makes no difference in the assessment that they are all evil sons-of-bitches.

Funny I thought this was America where the sky is the limit to how high one can climb. People have been coming here for four centuries to make their lives and fortunes without the help, or worse, interference from government.

But, in Obmamworld, you’re not allowed to do it by yourself. You need his help and direction even to tie your shoes, let alone get a government job. According to Obama the Most Merciful, there is such a thing as making too much money. Forget about movie stars that make 35 million a film and supported Obama in droves. They don’t count, you silly goose.

So I wonder if the president sent back his last royalty check from his two best selling books that made him a millionaire with a note saying, “Sorry, I have enough money already!.”

If you believe that, you’ll believe that ACCORN registered phony voters on behalf of George W. Bush.

But I guess I was raised differently.

I’m more concerned with the money coming into my wallet with fewer taxes. And if the next man is making more dough, God bless him, because it really isn’t my business anyway. Silly me was raised to think that that being envious of others was a sin.

But, what do I know?

On the impact of Obama’s success killing tax plan, New York City, Mayor Michael Bloomberg said this:

“And if you want to see what happens to a city when their major industry fails just take a look at Detroit," which has been reeling from the collapse of the auto industry.”

Bloomberg also said:

“I'm very concerned that we don't drive business overseas. London became a financial center when we increased regulation here,"

Kudos to Mayor Bloomberg for adamantly looking out for his constituency that stands to be deeply hurt by the president’s proposed tax on Banks.

It’s a pretty simple idea to understand why making “bonuses” the new “N-word” is short-sighted and extremely stupid.

When a so-called banker or Wall Street fat cat gets paid a bonus, city and state taxes are imposed right off the top like everyone else in this country. That money makes up 28% of the city’s operating budget that is used to pay cops, fire-fighters, sanitation workers and a host of other city services.

If Obama’s tax plan becomes a reality these banking interests, which are already taxed at the highest rate in the country will pack up and move to low-tax states or out of the country entirely.

If New York City’s financial sector disappears thanks to Obama and his anti-business policies, New York City will morph into another Detroit. See Democrat Jennifer Grandholm and the wonderful things she’s done with the state of Michigan.

And the cruel irony would be that the people most hurt by Obmam’s deionization of bonuses would be the minority community who overwhelmingly voted for him.

That’s a nice trade-off for making history and electing the first African American president.
