Obama Media Distorting Michael Steele’s Comments: Harry Reid Should Resign

The Obama-controlled media is in full cover Reid’s ass mode by already misrepresenting what Michael Steele said on Fox News Sunday.

If you look at a report from Politico calling Steele a flip-flopper for insisting that former Republican Majority leader Trent Lott didn’t need to resign in 2002 for comments he made about Strom Thurmond that Democrats found offensive, but instead calling for Reid’s resignation for his remarks calling Barack Obama “light skinned” and without “negro dialect”.

Look at what Steele actually said.

As you can see Steele is calling for Reid’s resignation not solely because of what Reid said about Obama, but because if the Republican leader in Lott had to resign for offensive comments, then Reid should also be made to resign for his offensive comments.

It’s totally irrelevant what Steele’s position was concerning Lott’s resignation, but the MSM is using it to discredit Steele’s argument that there should be only one standard for all politicians instead of separate standards for Democrats and Republicans

Harry Reid apologizes for "light skinned" remark about Obama

Senate Majority leader Harry Reid had to apologize on Saturday for referring to President Barack Obama as “light-skinned” with “no Negro dialect”. Reid, whose poll numbers are dropping like the temperature accross the country, chose to perform the mia culpa because his racially insensitive remarks will appear in an upcoming book about the 2008 prudential campaign.

This is the same Harry Reid who compared Republicans to those in the South who wanted keep slavery as the status quo, for their opposition to ObamaCare.

As I’ve argued before on this blog, Harry Ried willfully misrepresented the history of his own party on the Senate floor in which Democrats were the original enslavers of Black people and it was Democrats like Robert Byrd, formerly of the KKK, who filibustered the 1964 Civil Rights Act.

I’m not shocked by these remarks by Reid because it is indicative of the deception of the Democrat Party who has successfully hoodwinked Blacks into thinking the former slave owners and segregationalists like Democrat George Wallace who once famously said, “Segregation now, segregation tomorrow, segregation forever!”, are their friends in all things political.

Every now and then the true colors of the Democrat Party slips out. And that's what happened with Reid.

Don’t expect the African American community to reevaluate their allegiance to the Democrat party because for them and the Democrats, the enslavement of minds to a false history still continues.

And the plantation is still open for business.

Tiger Woods Getting No Love From Black Community: A Look into Group Think Psychology that Enslaves Black People

I wasn’t going to write anything about Tiger Woods because what he’s going through does not fall into what this blog is all about. However, I came across this article posted on AOL and found it to be a fascinating example of the things that I’ve written about concerning how Black people are socialized into “thinking a certain way” and “being a certain way”.

If anyone dares to “think” or “be” outside what is considered to be “the norm” of the Black community, they face intense ridicule, social shame and outright shunning from other Blacks.

This is what’s happening to Tiger and this column explains why:

Where Are Tiger's 'Cablinasian' Backers?

By Terence Moore, a national columnist for FanHouse

The revelations went from every day to every hour after Eldrick Tont Woods slammed his Escalade into that fire hydrant and tree during Thanksgiving Weekend. Now there isn't a nanosecond that passes without something else happening in the suddenly endless soap opera called As The Tiger Goes From Roaring to Purring.

This feels like that O.J. thing.

Not only that, the coverage of Michael Vick's dogfighting issues was in the vicinity of white Broncos, bloody gloves and Johnny Cochran.

To a lesser extent, there were those controversies for the Keeping It Real King named Allen Iverson, otherwise known as A.I., or The Answer, or just plain trouble, especially since he wasn't practicing. There also was that other initials guy, T.O., and his messes, combined with those of other NFL knuckleheads of yore, ranging from Randy Moss to Chad Whatever He Wishes To Be Called These Days.

Here's my point: During the early and intense stretches when the media continued to spend every news cycle exposing the personal flaws of O.J., Vick, Iverson and the rest, there was a different response inside the African-American community to those athletes who happen to be black compared to its response to Woods who happens to be, well, I'll get to that in a moment.

Those other athletes had one of the world's most supportive casts. They had an overwhelming number of folks in the African-American community standing firmly and loudly behind them -- no matter what. They had Jesse and Al waiting to pounce in the background, if they hadn't done so already. They had black ministers across the country asking for special prayers in their name. They had folks in barbershops throughout African-American communities talking about conspiracies.

Mostly, despite everything those in black America had seen or heard about the events surrounding O.J., Vick, Iverson and the rest, they had unconditional love.

For Woods, not so much.

Actually, not at all, and Woods has nobody to blame but Woods.

It goes back to April 1997 when he famously took a nine-iron to the face of blacks by telling Oprah Winfrey on her couch that he wasn't black. He said he wasn't white, either. He said, given that his father is black and that his mother is Asian, he spent his youth inventing a word for himself called "Cablinasian."

Just like that, in the hearts of many African-Americans, Woods was on his own. They still cherished his splendid journey in search of becoming more prolific than Bobby Jones, Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus. That's because they still viewed Tiger as black, whether he liked it or not. It's just that, despite O.J. and Bonds, for instance, who joined Woods in having mixed marriages to the chagrin of some, and despite O.J. and Bonds going to extremes to project colorless images throughout their careers, they never pushed away their African-American heritage in a dramatic way.

Tiger did. In fact, he did so by mentioning that Cablinasian silliness with his black father smiling by his side on national television.

I was among a slew of African-Americans who weren't amused back then, and I wrote as much as a sports columnist for the Atlanta Journal-Journal Constitution. The headline said everything you need to know about the tone of my column: "Wake up, Tiger. This is America and that means you're black."

Needless to say, television and radio airways sizzled over my Tiger comments deep in the heart of Dixie. This was before e-mail became popular, so the newspaper was flooded with phone messages, letters and faxes.

In the midst of it all, I got a call at home from Chicago.

Somebody named "Oprah" was on the other line.

"Yes, this really is Oprah," said THAT Oprah, adding that she was a frequent reader of my column. She wanted me to appear on her show the following week to discuss, not only what I wrote about Tiger's "Cablinasian" statement, but about Fuzzy Zoeller's remarks after Woods won the first of his four Masters that spring. Let's just say that Zoeller wasn't exactly gracious after he bombed in Augusta, Ga., back then while the upstart Woods crushed his competition.

As Zoeller headed for the clubhouse, somebody asked his opinion of Tiger's rout. "He's doing quite well, pretty impressive," Zoeller said. "That little boy is driving well, and he's putting well. He's doing everything it takes to win."

Then Zoeller thought about the Master's Club Championship Dinner that features the previous year's winner selecting the menu. Zoeller said, "So you know what you guys do when (Woods) gets in here? You pat him on the back and say congratulations and enjoy it and tell him not to serve fried chicken next year. Got it?"

Afterward, Zoeller smirked, snapped his fingers and added while walking away from the cameras, "Or collard greens or whatever the hell they serve."

To translate: Zoeller thought Woods was black -- you know, whether Woods liked it or not, and that's what I said on Oprah's show. In addition, I repeated what I wrote for the Atlanta newspaper, "Tiger Woods is fooling himself to think that just because he's Tiger Woods, he has transcended everything else in society. This is the real world, and in the real world of America, the one-drop rule still applies.

Tiger Woods committed the “social crime” as far as the Black Community is concerned, of wanting to define himself as he sees fit.

Isn’t this a free country?

Not in the Black community where mind-slavery is alive and well and continuous to thrive thanks to the enablers within and outside “the Hood” that continue to crack mental whips.

Democrats Pull Out Race Cards because it Works on Target Audience-Black Folks

For years whenever somebody asked me, "Why are you a Conservative?", my response has always been, "Why aren’t you?”

What usually follows after that is I'd see dumbfounded expression on their faces, mouths would usually drop to the floor, and they would say one of the following statements:

• Conservatives are for the rich
• Conservatives are racists
• Conservatives are for White people

There's some other common responses, but these three in essence capture the overall sentiments of most Black folks or Latinos for that matter. This mind set has been around for nearly 50 years. It’s a mindset that has enslaved people of color for far too long.

Jimmy Carter, a supporter of the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas who are dedicated to the destruction of the state of Israel, and as president presided over a weak economy that featured double-digit inflation, double-digit interest rates, and double-digit unemployment, and while under his watch Americans were held hostage for 444 days in Iran by a bunch of rag-tag Iranian thugs, thinks he has the moral authority to cast aspersions on the character of fellow Americans and accuse them of being racists for simply disagreeing with President Obama’s policies.

Pulling out the accusation of Racism is a favorite tactic of Liberals and it is often used because they can never win arguments on the merits. They insidiously know that the strategy works on the intended audience-people of color. It its used because the tactic helps to reinforce a mindset. It’s the same kind of mindset that would lead a group of Black teenagers to accuse a friend of trying to be “white” just because he wanted to stay home and study his schoolwork.

How long will the mind lock continue?

Shame only seems to work when it comes to political affiliation. Black people are shamed into voting Democrat by other Black people only because they have been fed the same group think. They don’t want to be seen as being different because the cost of social isolation is too high. The Democrat party knows this and continues to oil the wheels of mimdlock.

How long will the mind lock continue?

How about thinking for yourself and deciding on your own as to what your values really are?

I’m a proud Conservative and I vote for the candidate that matches my values. Most Black people and Latinos are really conservatives. But when it comes to politics, the community shame that tells them how they should to think, kicks in. So they go and vote for the candidate that supports the murder of the unborn (abortion).

50 million babies snuffed out since 1973.

It's the American Holocaust America doesn't want to acknowledge. But, that's only one issue where Black folks vote against their conscience and still continue to support the Democrat Party who are the chief defenders of abortion.

Democrats love to paint Republicans as racists. But did you know that of all the lynching that went on in America, an overwhelming majority of them were perpetrated by Democrats?

How long will the mind lock continue?

When Lincoln freed the slaves, your minds were included in the deal.
