What a Kennedy with a drinking problem?
Impossible!
New York Post
Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s wife yesterday resolved her Westchester drunken-driving case by pleading guilty to a lesser charge.
Mary Kennedy appeared in Bedford Town Court and pleaded guilty to a charge of driving with ability impaired, which carries no prison time.
Her husband, who has filed papers to end their 16-year marriage, was not in court yesterday.
Mary Kennedy, 50, was arrested in May after a police officer saw her drive over a curb outside a Bedford school.
Town Justice Kevin Quaranta fined her $500 and suspended her driver's license for 90 days.
She also must attend two programs designed to battle drunken driving, and submit quarterly reports from a psychiatrist.
If she stays out of trouble for a year, the case will be discharged.
