take a walk on the wild side

sugar plum fairies...
I, unlike mayor candidate Dale Francisco, can be bought..it's just that no one has proffered the right price yet. So I hear Dale on his radio ads claim that he's not for sale and can't be bought..who would say that? I mean, think about it, who would really have to say that? "I'm not for sale"... " I can't be bought"....a guy with slave complex? Dale worked for Cisco Sysytems where slaves and masters are the norm..maybe he was a male hooker at one time??
what other conclusion can I reach when all I hear Dale say on his radio ads that he's "not for sale" and he won't be bought...like he's all defensive and guilty perhaps of past liaisons?? maybe he got propositioned by Travis?? maybe he's got a Joe Buck Midnight Cowboy complex??
"I'm not for sale" Dale keeps boasting (which simply means he is for sale!)
He won't take money from unions like Helene Schneider does implying that Helene is for sale...so Dale, if you take money from a Rich Texan you are not for sale..but if you take money from a city worker, you are for sale? No, I think you got it backwards..when you had a few secret meetings with Randy VanWolfswinkel, how do we know what went on there?? A single guy in his fifties who plays cello meets with a rich Montecito dude from Texas!! I mean, come on..you retired on Cisco money alone? I don't think so...and those eyebrows, always plucked???
slow fade in..
Doo, doo, doo, doo, doo, doo, doo, doo
Doo, doo, doo, doo, doo, doo, doo, doo
Dale came from miami f.l.a.
Hitch-hiked way across the u.s.a.
Plucked his eyebrows on the way
Shaved his leg and then he was a she
She says, hey babe, take a walk on the wild side
Said, hey honey, take a walk on the wild side

Randy came from out on Texas island
In the backroom he/she was everybodys darling
But she never lost her head
Even when she was given head
She says, hey babe, take a walk on the wild side
Said, hey babe, take a walk on the wild side

Little Dale never once gave it away
Everybody had to pay and pay
A hustle here and a hustle there
Santa Barbara is the place where they said
Hey babe, take a walk on the wild side
I said hey Dale, take a walk on the wild side

And the coloured girls say
Doo, doo, doo, doo, doo, doo, doo, doo
Doo, doo, doo,
doo, doo, doo, doo, doo
Doo, doo, doo, doo, doo, doo, doo, doo
apologies to Lou Reed...
